Responsible gambling

Gambling is for adults, 18 and older, and some places set a higher age. It can cause real harm, and it may be illegal where you live. This site offers no real-money games, but if gambling worries you or someone close to you, the services below are free to contact or run by public bodies.

Warning signs

  1. You spend more time or money than you planned.
  2. You play to win back losses.
  3. You borrow money or sell things to keep playing.
  4. You hide the amount or the time from people close to you.
  5. You feel irritable or low when you are not playing.
  6. Gambling takes over work, study or family time.

If two or more fit, talk to a help line from the table below. This list is general guidance, not a diagnosis.

Self-control tools

  • Set limits first

Decide the most you will spend and how long you will play before you start, and stop when either is reached

  • Take breaks

Stand up, leave the screen, do something else for a while

  • Never chase losses

A loss does not make the next result more likely to be a win

  • Do not play upset or intoxicated

Mood and alcohol push decisions toward risk

  • Use self-exclusion

National registers block you from licensed operators for a period you choose. They exist in Germany, Spain, Sweden, Denmark and Romania (table below)

  • Remember what a demo is

A demo has no stakes. It shows how a game plays, not what real play costs

Questions

Who can I call if gambling is a problem?

Use the table above: each country has a free or public help line, and some have a self-exclusion register. If your country is not listed, search for your national gambling regulator or health service. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number rather than waiting for a gambling service to answer.

Is Sweet Bonanza Xmas 2500 legal in my country?

This site cannot say. Rules on gambling and on advertising it differ by country and change, and this site gives no legal advice. Gambling may be illegal in your jurisdiction. Ask your national gambling regulator, and treat the lack of a regulator answer as a reason to wait, not to play.

What does self-exclusion do?

Self-exclusion registers let you ask licensed operators in a country to refuse you for a period you choose. Germany, Spain, Sweden, Denmark and Romania run them, linked above. They cover operators licensed there. They do not block unlicensed sites, so combine them with limits, blocking tools and support from people close to you.

Is a demo a form of gambling?

A demo uses virtual credits, so nothing is staked or won. It still imitates real play, so treat it with the same care. If a demo leaves you wanting to play for real money, pause, read the warning signs above and, if they fit, contact a help line from the table.
